FAQs

1. What kind of clothing and gear does Rock Life offer?

At Rock Life, we offer long and short sleeve tees, hoodies, stickers, and more. Every product is designed to capture the essence of island living, inspired by the rugged beauty and adventurous spirit of Kodiak.

2. What is Airlume Combed and Ring-Spun Cotton, and why does it matter?

All our apparel is made from Bella+Canvas Airlume Combed and Ring-Spun Cotton, which goes through an extensive process to remove impurities and use only the finest, longest cotton fibers. This results in a super-soft, durable fabric that feels amazing and holds up well over time. It’s smoother than regular cotton, creating the perfect surface for our island-inspired prints. We’re committed to sustainability. Bella+Canvas uses eco-friendly dyes, and their manufacturing process consumes 7x less water than traditional methods. We currently ship within the United States. Most orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Due to ever-changing weather conditions, we are not responsible for delays caused by weather issues.

7. What if I need to return or exchange an item?

At this time, we only offer size exchanges. If your item doesn’t fit, you can exchange it for a different size. Items must be unworn and in original condition for exchange. Please visit www.rocklifegear.com for our full return policy.

8. What does Rock Life mean?

Rock Life is more than just a name. Born on Kodiak Island—what locals call The Rock—it’s about adventure, resilience, and living with joy. Wake Up. Rock Life. Repeat.

9. Where did Rock Life start?

Rock Life began in Kodiak in 2024. Inspired by rugged beauty and a resilient community, we set out to design authentic island-inspired apparel for life on the rock—and everywhere beyond.

10. Does Rock Life give back?

Yes! Rock Life is a proud member of the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce and actively supports our community. We’ve donated to the Stiles-Clark Auction, the KIBSD Convocation, and provided prizes for KMXT Trivia Night. We’ve also supported burn victims, local schools, and community events that bring Kodiak together. Starting this fall, we’re expanding our mission with free resilience classes for youth and parents, part of our growing youth mental health initiative.

11. Is Rock Life only for people in Kodiak?

Not at all. Rock Life was born on Kodiak, but it’s built for everywhere. Our motto is “Gear for The Rock. Worn everywhere.” Whether you live on an island, in the city, or just love the outdoors, Rock Life is for you.

12. What does “Wake Up. Rock Life. Repeat.” mean?

It’s our mantra—and our reminder to live with joy, resilience, and adventure every day. It’s more than a slogan. It’s the heartbeat of our brand and the spirit we hope you carry with you when you wear our gear.
